Hades does not seek glory nor seek vengeance. His sole duty was to govern the balance of the living and the dead. When the balance becomes distorted, he will arise from his domain to destroy those who disrupt the balance.

Due to the realm that he governs, many does not worship him until the time of one’s death. Yet, for those who worship him were granted slight gift of his greatness; where his avatars were granted with stronger abilities.
